KIA ASSIST IS PATHETIC

<p>I called Kia assist last night because I realised that my car was driving funny. I got out the car and realised I had a flat tire. I call Kia assist and spoke to a consultant by the name of Bongani. I explained to him what had happened and where I was. This guy was very crancky on the phone as tho he wasn't interested from the get go.</p> <p>He got people from AAA recovery centre to come and assist me. They checked the spare wheel and tighted it and then test drove it for a short while. He said that the car was good to go. Just after we left the scene he (AAA representative) gave me a call to say that he would rather swap the front wheel with the back wheel for better steering.</p> <p>We stopped at the next shell garage in Vereeniging and he went on to disassemble the wheels. He there after realised that the bolts and nuts where not fitting due to a part that the spare wheel was missing and therefore damaging the bolts and nuts. His conclusion was that the car needed to be towed.</p> <p>I then called kia assist and spoke to the same consultant, Bongani and told him what the AAA representative said. He then asked to speak to him. Afterwards he told me that I had damaged the car and that I'd be liable for everything going forward. I told him that I refuse to accept that because that is not what the AAA guy has told me. He then had the decency to tell me that the people called to assist don't always know what they are doing. He either has super powers and could be at at two places at once to assess the vehicle and handle calls or he is just being unreasonable.</p> <p>If these guys don't know what they are doing then why are they called to assist in the first place and how can I trust that my car really need to be towed? I'm very disappointed and thrown back for the level of service I received from Kia.</p>
