I wonder why kia would hire such people to represent them

<p>last week thursday i took my car in for a service at Kia motors in randburg Malibongwe drive. I was suppose to take it in at 90000km but at that time it was at 95000km so was told to pay for the service and i was fine with that. They then gave me a quote of R2800, I signed that invoice to note that I will pay for it. During the day 1 of their consultants there called me to tell me that they found more things to be fixed on the car, she mentioned brake pads, wiper, and a head light and at the end she said in total it will be R3200. So I thought i need those things so its fine, but she failed to mention was that its a separate bill from the one I signed in the morning so its an additional R3200 so in total its R6000. I only found out when fetching the car it was only than they mention its R6000. I told them The consultant did not say that to me and I wasnt going to pay for it. The response I got was that its not their problem if I can not understand english and that there is a recording of the telephone conversation where she did say its an additional R3200 and in total its R6000, so i asked for the recording to listen to it, the manager said its up to him if he gives me or not and at that time he will not give me and if i have a problem with that I can contact my lawyer to call his lawyer but he doubts I can even afford one since I can even afford to pay R6000. He went on to say that if i dont pay than they wont give me my car. I paid only because I needed my car. So I told him I was not happy about the service I received, he responded to say "black people are never happy with the service when it comes to them having to pay" and he made an example to say how can I walk in pick n pay take bread and leave without paying doesnt that make me a *****. I am going to take this to the ombudsman. I am really not impressed with kia, you hire people to **** us and there after hold our cars for ransom. They were rude and ****** on top of that.</p>
