Excellent value for money with a superb product

It is easy to complain and to write a review to name and shame individuals who do not perform to adequate standards, It is often less easier to compliment and thank people for a job well done and a great product.

This message serves to compliment Kia South Africa for doing an absolute excellent job and for delivering a truly value for money product.

I bought my Kia Rio 1.4 in 2006, and at the time it did not have the strong reputation that it does today. As my car' ODO meter just hit south of 201 000Km, I had to reflect on the service that it gave me.

When we bought the car, I had the option to choose between a German car with a strong reputation and a reliable record, or the Kia. I choose the Kia for the reason that it came with a 3 year warranty, service plan, electric windows, air-con, and radio - for R25 000.00 less than the German counterpart - which did not have any of those standard features.

During the lifespan of my car, I have had the unfortunate experience of driving over a small antelope, - and the car was not damaged, been sideswiped by a drunk driver - again I was safe along with my passengers, drove over the tyre of a truck in the middle of the night - again the car was undamaged and there are probably more stories of where the service of my Kia was beyond what I expected. When the time is right, I will buy a Kia again as I know my wife and daughter will be safe in a vehicle that is both comfortable and affordable.

When purchasing the vehicle, Kia's slogan was "the power to surprise", I think it still is...
