Engine failure

Bought kia optima 2012 model with the 2,4 l engine . Did research and found global class action against kia for the engine. I called kia eastrand before bought the vehicle they said was not related to my engine. Felt better so i bought it. Was still under warranty back then. Was regular maintained used quality oil never missed service. Was driving on highway and engine seized lost steering brakes coasted to saftey. Contacted kia SA and they said not related to my motor after i sent them the links about the +-**** engines affected And class action suite states to repair or refund costs. And extrnd the lower train warranty. No help further from them not concerned about my or my familiy saftey. After putting us at risk when they know there is a problem . Will never recommend or trust them again. As you cannot believe shat they are saying. Acting on your faults is the only way of building trust. Now left to replace engine at my cost. Not happy no support . Do not buy them
