Disgusting service at Kia/Imperial Select Umhlanga
I bought a Fiat Panda from the Kia/ Imperial Select in Umhlanga. The vehicle was sold to me with a promise made by the sales man and F&I manager that my vehicle came with a 3 year/100 000km service plan and I extended my warranty to match my finance term which is 5 years.
The system showed the vehicle came with a factory service plan therefore no additional service papers were required to be signed according to the sales man and the F&I manager. The DP has gone back on a promise made by his employees and has refused to uphold my 3 year service plan.
I had a meeting with the DP Luis on Monday (24/08/2020) in his office where he told me that he has been more than generous by offering to cover my first service and pay half a service plan that was originally promised to me. He told me that I was bullying him into paying for the full service plan and that myself and husband have been extremely rude when this was not the case. Luis has not handled this situation as a DP should have and kicked me out his office claiming that I had sworn at him when I was expressing my frustrations of not getting what was promised. My words were, "this is the very 1st car I have bought for myself and you have made this experience so ****ing sour". I may have been wrong in the language I used however I was trying to express my frustration.
He welcomed the idea of lawyers getting involved and has made no attempts to settle the situation in a civil setting. He has been nothing but rude to me and my husband and shown that he has no time to hear me and the issues that I have with the fact that he is happy not to deliver on his promises. Furthermore, it shows on my Wesbank App that the service plan has in fact been promised to them too. When I showed Luis, the DP he asked me if I had taken a photo off of Fiat's website to "make it look legit".
Absolutely disgusting coming from the mouth of what is meant to be a trusted vehicle specialist in the industry.
