Contract/Service Plan
When I bought my car, I was told that my car was a 3year/ 45 000km's service plan. Fast forward to when my car reached 30 000km's, I was assisted and was told that I should bring my car in January( which would have been my last service, according to my knowledge.) I booked for service in January and was told that my car is way over 45 000km's and so I won't be assisted. I email my sales person because that was not what I expected. To fast track the situation, now I am being told that my car was on a two year service plan/30 000km's and that I shouldn't be getting any service or I should pay for myself. I ask Joey(the sales person) whether this was on paper because now I am checking on my side whether I have been sent an documentation, the only document I received was the finance document and not my contract. Which I assume should have been sent to me, so that I can reference back to it when such cases arise. She then sends me a document that shows my signature in agreeing that the service plan was two years/30 000km's. My problem now is that they are feeding customers with incorrect information and now making it my problem. The mere fact that I don't have my contract in place is another concern because how am I going to then back date my stuff. Secondly with regards to the service itself, again they are feeding customers with the incorrect information because I was really under the impression that my km's don't really matter as long as I service it for the 3 years that I have since bought the car.
I am really upset and don't want to anyone to go through this.
