CAR LESS THAN 2 YEARS BUT TYRES ARE WORN OUT!

I have to come to this platform now after no response from Kia Motors Gauteng. I have been in communication with a lady named Tammy who has informed me that she has referred my complaint to the relevant person who will assist me and still after with no response, I emailed her and advised that I had not yet been contacted nor emailed regarding my concern.

She then advised that she has escalated my complaint to Regional Offices and still to date nothing???

I bought my mother a Kia Rio Tec in December 2014 and since then, it has gone for service 3 times to the Silverton dealership. My mother then advised me that her tyres were becoming worn out and that one of the tyres in the front had an air tube inserted as if it had a puncture. I then advised her to take the car to the dealer to bring it to their attention and on her arrival, she met up with Workshop Manager Marius who apparently was very abrupt and rude to her. She advised him of the matter and he told her why is she only bringing the car in at that time? She then said it’s because she was made aware by my brother who said to her why are the tyres worn out so quickly. Now since she is an elderly lady and knows nothing much about cars, she went to find out. She then requested that they play camera footage of all jobs done on the car and job cards to see who has worked on the car and if any tyres might have been swapped since a lot of these cases have occurred in the past at some dealerships. Marius then became defensive and told her that she is “NOT ALLOWED” to have access to any of the footage and is not allowed in the workshop. Now funny enough, when I was with her buying the car, FOR CASH!!! We were allowed to enter all corners of the premises and was even treated like royalty. Now that we have a concern to raise, all of a sudden there are restrictions. I am not going to be buying new tyres where the car is hardly 60000km’s and hardly travels distances. KIA MOTORS MUST SORT THIS OUT!!!!
