BRAND NEW KIA PICANTO UMHLANGA

ATTENTION : RE-BRAND NEW KIA PICANTO UMHLANGA

Dear : Sir/Madam

I am writing to express the poor service i have received, when i have purchased a brand new vehicle.

On the 9th of October 2018 i have purchased a brand new Kia Picanto 1.0 start 2018 From Kia Uhmlanga. upon driving the vehicle i have discovered that the car as a problem with the breaks,Fuel reading and Kilometer meter reading.

When i have discovered the car has a problem with the breaks . i took the car early in the morning back to the sales person Mr Benjamin on the 04/01/2019. he then took me with the car to the service department and i have met with the service department manager, he then took me with the car for a test drive and then told me that the car has a problem with the wheel balancing.being very unprofessional and rude he told me that i should take my car to super quick. i then took the car to super quick at umhlanga at zenith drive new town center. they did check the car wheel balancing and advised me that the car as extra weight on the passenger side tyre. The sales agent at super quick asked me if this is a brand new car over 3 months how can it have this problem. i had paid R 220.00 for it to be fixed.

On the 11th march 2019 i had booked the car in because the car was having a problem with the breaks.once again the service department told me that i had a problem with the hand break it was set to high. still having the same problem with the breaks after the car went in for service.

Note this the second time the car went to the services department. and the problem is not being fixed for what is was booked for but another problem rises.

On the 7th May 2019 the car was booked once again because of the breaks, and when i was called to pick up the car i was told by the service department agent that the car has a problem with the breaks, they need to put a claim through for the warranty. and gave me back the car on the 7 May 2019. upon then till today the 15 May 2019 i am still driving the car with the same problem .i did need the sales person the same day and he asked me what i am doing there i did advise him i am still having the same issues with the car breaks.

On the 10 May 2019 i went to the petrol station at phoenix to fill fuel. i did fill R100.00 petrol and i did see that my petrol light was on . being shocked i did think that the petrol attendant didn't fill the fuel . i called the manager of the petrol station he come and i did show him that the car petrol light is on . and i told him that if i fill R100.00 fuel i get 142km i know my car . so he did fill another R100.00 petrol and still my car petrol light was still on and the kilometers was not adding up there was only 21km. after filling R200.00 of fuel. upon driving the light is still on and the kilometers are dropping.with R200.00 of fuel the car would have had over half a tank of petrol . i have pictures showing you the kilometer and the fuel gauge. i then message the sales person and i was told that to send the car in on Monday to the services department.

On the 13 May 2019 i had took the car to the services department and told them what was happening , when i went to pick up the car i was told that the car has been reset back to factory settings and they told me not to worry about the car kilometers your car does when you fill fuel. how can i not worry about something that was working and now its not.

On 14 may i did fill fuel amount of R100.00 and still i am having the same issue the fuel light is still on kilometer are not adding.i have a picture to show what i am talking about.

I am very disappointed and very shocked from what happened . i find the situation very irritating . My car is going seven months old and and its been to KIA over four times in this year.

I demand a brand new car . as well as compensation for my time and money being wasted

enclosed with this letter i want feedback within five working days , and i was want the car service report to be sent to me as well as to the head office customer care. if i don't get a reply i will take this up to the ombudsman and the media .

on the 22 may 2019 i did receive a mail and from KIA head office asking details of the my and still no feedback.
