Brand new car that feels more like a second hand

In July 2017, I decided to purchase a new Kia Rio 2017 from Kia Oakdene after learning I was 6 weeks pregnant. I was so excited to upgrade from my previous car and have a car such as the Kia Rio that is promised to be one of the best sellers , comfortable, reliable, and safe cars.

Making the purchase was easy one for me as I was promised the security and safety I wanted for not only myself but unborn child as well. Little did I know I have purchased my worst nightmare...

A month after purchasing the car, the breaks started making a squeaky sound, the sound got increasingly louder. When I called into the dealership, I was told that it is normal the brake pads and plates have to 'groove' as the car was still new.

The sound just continued, I called in the second time and was told to bring the car in. I took the car in and their 'head technician' did not even look at the car longer than 5 mins just to tell me 'Mam there is nothing I can do, the brakes have to groove so just drive more'.

Weeks later the sounds became unbearable. I had my partner take the car in. They actually booked the car in the third time and promised the problem was fixed. The sent the car back with a report that read they shampered the brake pads and cleaned them.

The sound was gone, I thought the problem was fixed only to my surprise. Days later the sound is back with a bonus crack sound every time I actually step on the brakes. I called back in to book/send the car back. The operator told me they will have to replace the brakes entirely, when I asked why they didn't do that in the first place he told me warranty has a procedure.

I had my younger brother take the car in today (02/12/2017) to have the car sent back without being checked and a message from the dealership stating 'Inform miss Fiyo to rebook the car in from only Tuesday onwards next week. Let her know she now has to start paying a consultation fee for the technicians look at the car and diagnose it as it is returning for more than twice'

This sent me off the roof... I am absolutely disgusted by the service and product itself. Everytime I drive the car I wonder if my unborn son and I are even safe. Im always anxious, hoping the noisey brakes with the plates full of rust wont fail at anytime.

I don't know what measures to follow from here. I DO NOT want this car anymore... I am wasting not only my time but money. I don't need this stress!
