AVOID KIA KREMMERVILLE
AVOID KIA KREMERVILLE AT ALL COST!!! I am utterly dismayed and deeply frustrated with the abysmal service I've received from Kia Sandton Kramerville. My experience with them since July 2023 has been nothing short of a nightmare. Prior to entrusting my car to them, I had enjoyed four years of seamless driving without a single issue. However, since that ill-fated day in July 2023 when my clutch broke, my car has been nothing but a source of constant headaches.
Initially, I was assured that my car would be ready within a month as they awaited parts from Korea. Despite being quoted an exorbitant sum of over R21,000, with only R10,000 covered by my warranty, I reluctantly paid the balance in hopes of finally having a functioning vehicle. Yet, mere days after retrieving my car, it began exhibiting new problems, including a stiff clutch when the air conditioning was on and erratic behavior with the gears and computer system.
Despite promptly returning the car to Kia Sandton for further inspection, they dismissed my concerns and returned it to me without addressing the underlying issues. Subsequent attempts to rectify the ongoing problems have been met with further delays, excuses, and a lack of accountability on their part.
Most recently, on January 25, 2024, while driving, my car once again malfunctioned, this time with the clutch becoming completely loose. Upon returning it to Kia Sandton, I was informed that the master cylinder needed replacement—a part that, to my astonishment, had supposedly been replaced during their previous repairs in August 2023.
After weeks of waiting for the necessary part to arrive from Korea, I was assured that my car would finally be ready for collection on February 17, 2024. However, upon arrival, I was informed of an additional cost of over R1,900 for a new battery, which apparently died due to their neglectful storage of my vehicle.
This entire ordeal has been nothing short of a nightmare, with Kia Sandton consistently failing to provide adequate service or uphold their responsibilities. It is beyond comprehension that a reputable dealership would exhibit such negligence and incompetence. I implore Kia to intervene and provide the necessary training and oversight to ensure that their staff at Kia Sandton are capable of delivering the standard of service that customers rightfully expect.
The complaints department proves ineffective as it primarily serves as a profit-driven venture, employing any available tactic to compel payment rather than addressing issues.
