Assistance and resolution
I bought my Kia cerato koup 1.6 TGDI in 2017. The original key and spare key were always saying battery is low. Dealership in Kempton Park told me that with time it will change. It continued until after 2nd service where the car would not open or lock itself . I went to Kia edenvale and I was told they can't help me as it was out of warranty at 30000km. I keep on buying batteries for the car key which never last for a month. In June I took my car in for service 120 000km @ Kia edenvale. The was a sound detected as too be a noisy clutch , it was never inspected but I was told after inquiring further that I would need to buy the clutch kit. The car is still under warranty, garage didn't even take the courtesy to check what was happening and report to liquid capital for approval to replace. Upon enquiring for the clutch kit parts we found that the clutch kit was fitted in 2014 but the car I was sold was said to be 2017 model. Garage called me to tell me of I want them to strip the car and liquid capital refuses to cover the costs I will have to pay for all costs. I have enquired to Kia South Africa on both incidents and they have just not seemed to be bothered by any of this .
