A faulty car before 50 000km - like really?
Good day, I trust this mail finds you well. Thanks for your time earlier today, as discussed I bought my car in January 2020 (demo) Kia Rio model. To date, I have missed a couple of days from work because i have sort out car issues from a car that has not even hit the 50 000 km mark - which highly baffles me and also makes me wonder what kind of problem will I be encountering when I get to 100 000 with my car. As I had explained earlier, I have experienced the below which have made me miss work : - Faulty speakers (last week Tuesday)- On and off cluster lights (last week Tuesday)- Radio switched off randomly the whole day (last week Tuesday)- Broken clutch spring (This week on Tuesday) Based on our chat, I called and took my car to where I had originally bought it, which was the Vanderbijlpark MultiFranchise. I booked it in so the technicians could have a look at it and see if there are any other faults that need to be fixed in addition to the clutch. As I mentioned over the phone, the reason why I bought a new car, to begin with, is to not experience such problems and to have reliable transport that will take me from A to B without even thinking twice. I am also paying an awful lot for this car to be experiencing such difficulties at such an early stage. As far as I know, my car is still under warranty and the back and forths are currently getting on my nerves. If I need to be spending my Tuesdays at a dealership rather than my place of employment - I'm sure I'm going to start to have issues at some point. As I had asked prior - let me know what the procedure is to sort out my car and if I need to get a new one, let it be known so we can have an open conversation about it. A few people from the Vereeniging and Vanderbijlpark MultiFranchise also mentioned that I shouldn't be having such issues with a car this new. Thank you, I look forward to your feedback.
