Typical ************* Used Car Salesman

Unfortunately Mr Clinton Mlangeni of Kia Motors Silver Lakes, Equestria Pretoria, turned out to be your typical ************* used car salesman. Looking to purchase a used Kia K2700 workhorse bakkie with canopy I was lead to their dealership through their internet advertising of a similar bakkie. Unfortunately the bakkie I was interested in was sold (Was it ever available or was this a Red Herring Ad?). However, according to Mr Clinton Mlangeni they had another with very similar specs and same price. I told Mr Mlangeni to please send photos as I wanted to see condition of bakkie before making a 140km round trip and specifically asked to see photos of condition of the cab interior, especially the upholstery, as this is generally a good indicator of condition of vehicle. He only sent photos of the Side, Back (No numberplate visible) and dashboard of bakkie on Friday 27th Dec. Non the less thinking he just forgot to take other photos as requested I made the trip from Kensington, Jhb to Equestria Pretoria on Saturday morning. The Great Reveal! Well the bakkie was not in great shape and had visible issues with rust, as well as obvious areas where rust was touched-up, the upholstery, tyres were shot too.. and YES you guessed it the bakkie had KZN numberplate... obviously conveniently forgotten in photos sent to me! The irony is that this bakkie was been sold off the floor through the "KIA Konfidence" used car division. COME ON KIA let's not treat your customers like idiots!

PS: I've purchased another vehicle through KIA Edenvale a year ago and had nothing but excellent service.
