****py KIA Menlyn
When I bought the car in 2014 I got 2 keys which is what is expected. When my main key broke I used the spare key. On the 29/06/18 my main key fell in the lift shaft and broke. I was unable to use my spare as it would not start the car. What's the point of having a spare key if you can't use it in emergencies. I was without a car for over a week and was told to get a replacement key. I did and send it for programming to Kia Menlyn. Hardly 2 weeks after I have travelled to Durban and the key doesn't unlock . I brought it back and Jacque first ignored me after calling and advising that I will be coming as the mobiliser doesn't work. paid R800 to program the key and now they telling me I need a new key for R5k. The condescending attitude I received from Jacques was appalling. Kia Menlyn must shut down or get new staff. I don't understand why I had to pay 800 to program a key that was already supposed to be programmed and now after paying that money they telling me to get a new key for 5k. I'm ****ed off due the attitude and the fact that I paid for a spare and have to get another key again. I want my 800 back as it was pointless to pay it if the spare still doesn't work as it should. spares should come with the car working and that why they are spares. Kia and their low budget keys that break. this is nonsense. someone must do something about this. KIA is problematic and I hope someone does something about this.
