My family entered into an agreement to purchase a Kia Carnival from Kia George in May 2026. We paid the required amounts using banking details provided to us during the sales process, signed all necessary documentation, and handed over our Toyota trade-in vehicle. On the day we were due to take delivery, the transaction took an unexpected turn, and we were subsequently informed that the dealership had not received all of the funds paid. An internal investigation was launched, and the matter remains unresolved. Today, Kia George remains in possession of both our trade-in vehicle and the Kia Carnival, while we remain without the vehicle we intended to purchase. The matter is now being handled through legal channels. We acted in good faith throughout the process and fulfilled every obligation expected of us as customers. More than anything, I am disappointed that what should have been an exciting family purchase has become a stressful and ongoing dispute. This post reflects my personal experience and opinion. I share it so that other consumers know about it.
