KIA Rustenburg, Bad business practice

<p> </p> <p>KIA Rustenburg - Stian/ Jacques</p> <p>My father experienced a knock on the engine, and had it replaced at Kia Rustenburg, however the dealer doesn’t want to give him his old engine back, it is alleged that the old engine was traded in for a new engine. I am uncertain if this is a normal practice at Kia.</p> <p> </p> <p>· The invoice doesn’t not show a set off fee of the old engine</p> <p>· I have requested the service manager to provide the invoice of the engine purchased, and he is secretive regarding this info</p> <p>· How do we know if the old engine was just repaired, and no engine was replaced?</p> <p>· The dealer did not provide a signed document by my father showing that this information was communicated to him</p> <p>· Upon delivering the vehicle for repairs, it was communicated to him that the old engine will be given back </p> <p> </p> <p>Could any1 please provide guidance on the process to follow inoder to lodge a formal complaint?</p>
