Khayelitsha Home Affairs.The incompetence in this home affairs cannot go unmentioned. My ID for collection has been ready since the 2nd of April everytime I go there is a different excuse while waiting in the queue we told that the servers are down and there will be back up this is 09H00 the morning so we wait at 13H45 now the servers are back up while still in the queue from 09H00 on an appointment for that matter.All of a sudden at 14H00 they are now closing for training and they have to unfortunately close. I make an appointment for the following Monday the 8th of April 2024 for 09H00 get there at 09H00 for the appointment we wait for them to get ready told to go in and we are given numbers and told to sit at collection.While there at collection all of a sudden the server is flooded due to heavy rain and that they can't issue ID collections and this server could explode and there technicians are saying it will take two days to resolve. I make another appointment for Friday the 12th of Paril 2024 get there for the appointment and now it's not the servers but the roof that went with the wind and that they still can't can't issue ID collection.This roof that supposedly went with the wind is now where to be found and there is no visible damage to the roof at all. They even now still can't issue ID collection in the mean time a person can't do anything without this ID they won't even issue temporary ID. WHY DOES THIS HOME AFFAIRS EVEN EXIST?!!!!!!!!
