Unsatisfactory, poor and pure incompetence

On the 27th of December 2021 I made an enquiry at KFC iNquthu branch. I needed a quotation for 600 kiddies meal at iNquthu. The lady I spoke to, Simphiwe advised that they no longer make kiddies meals so I’d have to get items that would make up my required meal and suit my budget. She told me of my options and I advised that I need a snack burger, 1 piece chicken, chips and cool drink. According to her calculations this would come to R60 per person. I advised that I require 600 of these. I then sent someone to go and make payment however the speed point was not working. I was then told to make payment in the morning however order would be ready for me(I had requested for 9am). I requested formal quotation and invoice however I was told this is not how there work, fair enough. Come the 28th, I went to the shop again, only for the shop to still have their machine down. After several attempts of trying to stand in long bank queues trying to withdraw cash I went back to the store and was given an account to make payment to.this had already caused delays and inconvenience as this would’ve been given to us as an option the day before. My food delivery had to be done a couple of kilometres away from the town and this caused an inconvenience as I had to make multiple trips there and back. This was a kiddies event and it didn’t look good on client when half the crowd was receiving food and everything just coming in bits and drabs. I’m highly disappointed because I spent a huge lump sum in this shop (30k) only to receive such poor service when I had communicated this the previous day. And I did this cause I understand the time constraints as well as the numbers. In the end all I got was street wise two and cool drink due to shortage in buns, something that wasn’t communicated the day before! I’m not happy with the service I received and their communication thereof. I should’ve been advised prior if branch wasn’t going to be able to cater to my needs!!!
