The waiting time was ridiculous

Yesterday was a long day for my mum and I. We then decided to have lunch at KFC and we waited over 20mins in the que while there were only two people in front of us. Some people behind us left the que and went away.We then called a manager who didn't even apologise, he said there are shortstaffed there is absolutely nothing he can do to help us. But i saw that the drive thru was moving pretty fast. We ended up leaving also to McDonalds where we received everything in less than 5 minutes and the staff was really friendly.
