****** Device in the store by the staff member
On the 26 of January 2023 my sister and I we went for Lunch at KFC Corner Long & Strand Street Cape Town, we then ordered Two burger meals set down and had our lunch just before we finished eating we realised that we still wanted to order a bucket for one , my sister took her phone as she kept her bank card at the back of her device, and went to place the order and paid, she requested side breast and when she came back to sat down she realised that it’s not a side breast but centre breast she the left her phone with me on the table and went back to request the side breast, one of the KFC staff member (Kayaan) who was cleaning came to our table and pretended to be cleaning and stole my sister’s device, my sister came back from the cashier where she went to rectify her order, only to our amazement her cellphone was not on the table where she left it I quickly phoned her device it was already switched off and Kayaan was nowhere to be seen he wasn’t on the floor when we went to ask for assistance to see the footage we were requested to produce our till receipts for our order number , we couldn’t find the till receipts in the dust bins inside your store as Kayaan had already took the till receipt and threw them away ,and we couldn’t be assisted,we later came back after work spoke to Tashreeq the manager on duty he also wasn’t willing to assist he had all the excuses not to help us up until today we hadn’t had feedback from KFC,as we left our contact details with Tashreeq written on a diary. This by far has been the most traumatic experience as a customer and i was amazed that being black afforded me a double standard customer service experience I will never forget I’m reporting this KFC to Ombudsman to assist maybe I will be treated with dignity ,respect and as a proper human being.I was unaware of how unsafe I am at your store with ******** staff members on duty. Please contact me on *** /*** I hope to here from you as my bank card was with the phone when your staff member saw fit that I don’t deserve to have such a device.
