Stay away from KFC Robertson

Good day,

I am highly irritated and disappointed with your Robertson branch.

Their staff and service sucks big time!!!

Today on our way home from, after a very long drive from PE we decided to stop at your KFC branch in Robertson.

We went through the drive thru, but was highly shocked and disappointed with the service we received.

The lady on the receiving end did not even greet to start with. I had to ask if there was something wrong, as it was just quiet on the other side. A voice spoke and she asked 'wat wil julle he'

I mean excuse me, I'm tired I'm hungry I did not ask her anything yet, why should she even say 'wat wil julle he' I responded back in afrikaans, Goeie middag dame en a voorspoedige nuwe jaar vir jou, and she said 'selfde vi jule' the next thing I know there was someone else on the other side, which would be the cashier... Penny, as written on my receipt. I asked Penny that i want to continue my order with the 1st lady that assisted me, she advised she went to the loo, which was also a lie, as my husband then got out of the car and both of them were standing at the window! I then told Penny I will wait for her and keep up this whole drive thru! Cause then i started getting very irritated! After after so 5-7 minutes she 'returned' and asked with a stinking attituted 'wat sal dit wees'. I gave my order. And went around to pay. The cashier then assisted me with my transaction, and I asked her where the lady was whom assisted me first she pointed to the other side of the window, I asked to speak to her, Penny advised she was busy with customer, I told her I will wait till she's done. Eventually she peeped through the window, i asked with a smile if she's having a bad day, and why didnt she greet, and why she had to be rude to us, as we were only here to get food after a very long drive, her reply was 'ek is nie a ombeskofte mense nie' and turned around and went on as if nothing happened, I wasnt even done talking. I then asked the cashier her name which is Sophie.

I asked the lady at the delivery point as well and she confirmed it's Sophie.

I don't know if she was upset that she had to work on New Years day or if that is her attitude with her customers. But by being in the customer services field myself I know how she treated us today was unacceptable!!

I will NOT recommend KFC Robertson to anybody!!!

Very disappointed customer.
