serving food in a toxic environment

On Sunday I visited KFC at the Glen shopping centre. As I approached the counter I could detect a foul smell. I questioned the counter server & initially she said it was nothing but when I insisted she said it was only the drains which had been blocked since the previous day. I asked her why had they not called a plumber & she rep**** :they are not serious, our boss says we must carry on working. I then took the liberty of peering around the counter and saw the floor in front and the kitchen was covered in a layer of ****my dirty grey water - the staff was actually standing in it preparing food ???
I called the manager (Aly?) who told me that he could not call the plumber as plumbers were expensive and needed permission from his boss but not to worry as everything was fine?
I am a British citizen and have enjoyed KFC in many countries including S Africa but have never seen such a blatant disregard for health and safety regulations. How can a major international brand behave in such a manner? I intend taking it up with the SA food regulatory body and contacting KFC USA. DISGUSTING
