Service disaster

Good day

This morning myself, wife and daughter wanted to make use of KFC Bellville on Strand Road’s so called excellent service.

Upon arrival in the drive thru, the lady on the other side welcomed us with the following “yes what do you want” very disturb, but still calm I placed my order: cappuccino and two hot chocolates. We get to the pay window; my wife greets your employee. Your employee just looked at her as if my wife said something wrong. We get our change at round about 06:55am, we were second in the queue. The car in front of us just ordered sandwiches and coffee, at approximately 07:15am we are still waiting in the queue. I got out to tell them that we have been waiting rather long in the queue and requested that your staff work a bit faster as everyone is just roaming around inside. At 07:25am we got to the window where we must get our order, I requested to speak to the manager on duty.

The lady assisting us calls the manager which is in clear sight of us, she called him thrice as he just looked our way and continue a nice casual conversation; laughing etc, and after the third time the assisting lady called him he’s response is: “they can wait” and continues with his chat.

The manager eventually comes to the window (the queue behind me goes right around the corner) I’ve by this time 07:40am learnt that his name is Austin or that is what his name badge said.

I made known to him that I’m utterly disgusted by his reaction and that I want to cancel my order.

Please note: I was not the only one cancelling my order this morning.

The staff treat the customers as if we are **** and give attitude when confronted.

This not the first time that I receive bad service from this KFC, I normally stop there in the morning to get coffee before I continue my journey to the office but I had enough now of your staff and managers with their attitude.

I’m going to the media with this, as I feel KFC Bellville should not treat loyal paying customer like something you pull out of the sewer.
