Seriously dissappointing service and food

<p>Firstly, I am not crazy about take out, but on the odd occasion I treat the children. I live in Norkem Park, Kempton Park and the closest KFC to me is the one in Birchleigh, just off the P91. About three months ago I bought dinner for the family upon our arrival the crispy chicken burgers were not packed, the chips were cold and the coleslaw's date expired the day before.</p> <p>A couple of weeks back I go past the same KFC to get food, hoping that this time they might get it right. I ordered a family feast and two extra dunked wings. Whomever packed the food, literally just dumped everything in the bag. When we arrived home, all the sauce from the dunked wings had run out all over the chips, pops and the chicken, because they thought it good to pack the boxes on their side and the sauce from the dunked wings ran into the openings. The mash and gravy bowels weren't closed properly and some of it leaked out. I tried to contact the branch, but nobody answered the phone and when they did, they told me to hold on and then I was just left to hang on forever. I had to make another trip to McDonalds down the street from me for food for the kids, since they don't eat any hot food. UNECCESSARY EXPENSE!!!...FOR A SINGLE MOM!!!! And then don't count out the 18 minutes you have to wait for your food via the drive-through.</p> <p>A week later I remembered about the incident as I drove past the KFC and I phoned them to speak to the manager. He was not very polite nor interested to hear me out. He kept telling me that there is nothing that he can do, since I should have phoned them the same night. He then continued to argue with me that the packers of the food would never have packed the boxes with wings and chicken on their sides and that it is my own fault that I got the food in such a mess because it is my responsibility to check the food before I leave. </p> <p>Last time I checked, a drive through was suppose to be quick and fast, but I can assure you that this is not the case at this branch. Every single visit is a wait. </p> <p>Today at lunchtime I was starving and stopped by to buy some wings. To my dismay, I waited for 17 minutes and as a result was late for work. This time round I was the lucky winner of some feathers on the wings. I have had it. I threw the wings out the window out of pure anger and frustration. Who wants to eat food when there is still feathers sticking out of it??? Can not see it when they pack the food??? I am sick and tired of waiting forever and a day just to receive poor, pathetic, disgusting service and even worse food. I will never ever buy food from them again.</p> <p> </p>
