Seriously 4 KFC's in one day and NO luck anywhere?

Yesterday at 9h45am my kids and I wanted to go to the drive through at KFC Langebaan but it was closed due to staff training so I took a detour through Vredenburg and went to the KFC at the West Coast mall, the drive through was closed off and when I asked a staff member I was told they were not ready to serve, they only had chicken fillets available? After that we drove to the KFC on the main road in Vredenburg and their drive through was also closed. We then drove to the KFC in Piketburg and thankfully their drive through was open but when I paid for the food they told me it would take 3 minutes, if I can park and they will bring it to me. 25 minutes later and no food so I went inside and asked the manager for a refund because at that stage all I wanted was my money back so I could buy food from the garage next door. The manager said nothing, went to the back and I did not see her again. Instead of a refund another staff member came and gave us our food without a word but a menacing look. How hard can it be to get some food from KFC during business hours? And really I wanted a drive through not a park and wait situation. Trying to get food from a KFC drive through yesterday caused so much upset, frustration, time wastage and fuel expense. Between all the waiting, making detours, stopping etc it added on an extra hour and a half to our road trip. By the time we got to eat; our food just tasted of resentment, irritation, and disappointment.
