What was supposed to be a good late lunch/early dinner was absolutely ruined by your extremely rude teller/order packer. I don't know what she does but she is rude. I went to KFC around 5pm in Braam with a friend of mine. My order was order 099 and hers was 101. We ordered two KFC salads. At this point the service we had experienced was good. We picked up our meals amd were given two packets of honey and mustard salad dressing each. We then went down to sit for our meals, opened the salad dressings and mixed everything. At that point it became apparent that the salad dressing is simply not enough. The bottom of the salad is mostly lettuce and the salad dressing does not drip/trickle down. We then went to the counter where we picked up our salads and asked the lady there if we could get two more packets, one for both of us. The lady there went to get the sauces but was interrupted by her colleague who started saying "no, they should buy them if they want it" in what came off as extremely aggressive and completely weird as we were not even dealing with her in the first place. The lady came back and repeated what we heard and then informed us that it is R1.50 a sauce. We then told her that's fine we'll pay for it and asked if she could then make it a total of 4 sauces instead. At the till, the lady struggled finding the sauces on the system and then called her know it all, rude colleague to come find the items. After the two of them failed to find it. The rude one (named Thandeka) left to go ask other staff members if they know the code. The one who remained with us asked us to just pay the amount and she'll give us the sauces. We then told her no, we would like to receive a till slip. Thandeka came back and continued frantically looking for the item while we waited. She asked anyone who was around if they knew the item code or where it would be. Eventually she said oh well, she can't find it and well just have to do without it and we must go eat our meals in a rude tone.

Our very dry meals. Two students, treating themselve had to "make do" because someone felt like she had a monopoly over a few packets of sauce. This is honestly such a trivial matter however the rudeness displayed by Thandeka was unnecessary and uncalled for. I am a customer. A paying customer. R40 x 2 is a lot of money to spend on a salad that is mostly lettuce and then to be told to go eat dry lettuce because someone's ego was bruised by the fact that we were not dissuaded by her initial rudeness trying to deny us something as basic as dressing and then her dismal failure in attempting to find this item on a system. And then to be told that oh well go make do because I can't help you? What happened to a basic apology for her inadequacies and then politely informing us that she can't find the items and unfortunately she can't give us the Sauces. If it wasn't for how rude she was about the whole thing towards a paying customer, who was polite to the staff, I would have accepted the situation and left it there but I just can't with how rude she was. You'd swear she was doing me a favour.

You need to teach some of your staff basic customer service s****s. Or they need a refresher course. It's utterly disgusting and ridiculous that something so trivial ruined what was supposed to be a treat. I wouldn't return to the KFC in braam because the meal was just ruined by the bad taste Thandeka left in my mouth.

Thank you for your time.
