Rude, Aggressive and bossy tellers at KFC
On Friday night the 29th of June just after 7pm. I went to KFC Constantia, Johannesburg. As we walked in the collection queue was full but the ordering queue was empty. We walked up to the counter and met up with Nthabiseng on the till, the only one at the till at the time. In the process of ordering, we ordered as follows " two sweet chilli twisters, one with 2 extra wings... a box master meal.." at this point Nthabiseng asked if it was a buddy or fountain and if it should be zinger or plain. we answered Buddy. We then also advised Nthabiseng that the Twisters were also meals. Nthabiseng responded back with a slap on the counter telling us "we should of told her this first",(despite that the 2 wings promo is with meals) i calmly responded, that in future she should consider asking the client if it is a meal or not instead of telling us, the client how to order. She then encountered issues with the system, and told us in dismay that she now has to call the manager to get it fixed. we said that is fine. Nthabiseng walked away, and came back a few moments later-by herself no manager accompanying her. She agitately pressed on the screen and once again slapped the counter, looking at us as if its our fault that the system is not working the way she thought it should. All of a sudden the system magically works, and we ordered an additional 2 crunch burger meals - Nthabiseng did not ask us if these meals are zinger or not. The total on the till that we could see came to R277. We swiped our card for R277, and were not given our POS slip. Nthabiseng then tried to complete the transaction on the till but all of a sudden the figure fluctuated to R400 odd and down to R271.50 and stabalised on R271.50 after someone else came to help. Nthabiseng completed the transaction at R271.50 notably there is a R6.50 difference that came off our account that we did not get back. After taking 15 minutes just to place an order, we waited another 15 minutes for our food. When we got home after ordering 5 meals, 3 adults and 2 childern. The kids were unable to eat the food because Nthabiseng made their crunch burger meals zinger, let alone that we only received one salt packet amongst 5 packets of chips and 2 tomato sauce sachets.
I am absolutely appalled that the staff now tell you how you should order. That the staff are rude in manner, slapping on the counter and being aggressive and that they dont take responsibility for their mistakes. How do you charge me R277 on my card but your till slip says R271.50 and then the children are not even able to eat their meal because it is too spicy..
Absolutely shoddy service. if i could rate less i would.
