Rotten and Vile KFC

On the 6th of February 2024 11:30 I wnet to KFC in gateway mall. As I was standing in line a Lady by the self help thingies asked if I was paying with card, I said so I stepped forward and she helped me place an order for the 9 piece chicken. As I walked away to sit on the high chairs and wait for my order, order number 1144 I wont forget, I come across the smell so strong I even turned around and asked her what in the world it was, she said nothing, disturbed as can be I even started looking up at the air vents thinking something must have died up there. After some time my order number gets called and for the first time I went up to the counter, guys the smell was coming from the back, the kitchen to be specific. I kept asking what is that because the last thing that came to mind was ooh its the chicken. I get home and we have lunch, My grandparents and I could not even finish our meals. The chicken was absolutely rotten to the core, I got sick immediately, as it is im still sick I cant even eat and to top ot of the paper bag was dripping with oil. Now in todays economy, being able to purchase fast food is a luxury, im shocked at the lack of care from such an established company, a household name. What if this gravely affected my grandparents? What then? Business as usual? Im shocked at the audacity amd the lack of empathy towards customer's. It truely broke my heart.
