RIGHT TO FAIR AND HONEST DEALING

My sister and i was going to visit my grandmother in Mamelodi. So the tradition normally is to take her food along when we go to her house. We than come across a billboard that states that KFC has a promotion of buying 5 pieces of chicken and getting an extra piece for free. We were excited and took a turn to get into the KFC just outside the billboard in Mamelodi. When we got there, we made our order and we were told that the promotion is over. The advertising is misleading! and as per the CPA CFC is liable to giving us the products that's advertised because it's still being advertised to draw consumers but when the consumer is asking for it we are being denied. Suppliers are not permitted to provide false, deceptive or misleading representations regarding services and products. What was worse was when we asked for the manager. She was extremely rude to us and didn't care! She just said that board should'have been taken down but its not. so there nothing she can do about it, she can't help us. All we needed at the time, was for someone who understand the importance of advertising to apologies for the misleading information. But she was rude and gave us a lot of attitude with no solution or customer service. She was clueless about the product information or even about the protection acts. She honestly made me look at KFC as a brand in such a negative way. My perception and experience for myself and my sister was ruined. We are both brand loyal to the brands we love with big families, and because of one person we are done. We asked for a re-fund, she grabbed the food and simply gave us our money back without any apology or convincing us to take the product. Nothing, she was more than happy to let us go as unhappy as we were. Shocking service!
