RAW FOOD, ALONG WITH QUESTIONABLE SERVICE

25/04/21 - KFC at the Gateway Mall I purchased 4 zinger burgers at the gateway mall KFC. I am from Malvern (South of Durban) whilst gateway is in the North. Upon arriving home, all 4 of the burgers were found to have been raw, hence undercooked. Obviously we could not eat those & disposed of it. I called up the branch and the supervisor on duty (mbuso) indicated that we should bring it back to the store. He further stated that the area manager (praneel) will be in touch. Praneel stated there's nothing he could do if I don't return the burgers to the store. As it was disposed of, he stated that I need to "dig in the bin & take photos of burgers". Further he stated I could be mistaken between the marinade sauce & undercooked meat.

For such under service, I need to go all the way back to gateway. Who's going to compensate for the travel? Further, why will I lie? Do I not have anything better to do rather than call up & complain for nothing? - as it was made to seem.

Service leaves a lot to be desired, especially the attitude of staff. I would never recommend anyone buying from the KFC gateway mall. You will waste your money & still go hungry.
