Protea Heights KFC Being Dishonest

I ordered a KFC for 4 using KFC's online platform. I usually get a dip with it. In fact, the online platform allows me to swap out the default Colonel dip for the Sweet Chilli dip. Today (21 October 2022), I did not receive a dip with my meal. I phoned KFC and spoke to the manager, who informed me that they did not include a dip because they didn't have a Colonel dip. However, they did have sweet chili dip and they would rectify the issue by sending another driver with my dip. A few moments later, I get a phone call from the restaurant with another woman on the line. She asks me what my order was, and I tell her it was the KFC For 4. She thanks me and then drops the line. A few moments later, she calls me to inform that the dip is only included when there are nine nuggets. She tells me that to qualify for the dip, I had to add three more nuggets which would cost me about R9 extra. Yet, I've ordered KFC For 4 time and time again and this has never been the case. The only thing the app prompts me to do is select if I would like to add coleslaw or swap the Colonel dip for the Sweet Chilli dip.

What I partially believe is that they either have no dip at all or they're trying to save money by being dishonest and skimping out. However, I could be wrong and maybe things have changed but the fact that I was first told that there was no colonel dip was fishy to me.
