While we are busy enduring this pandemic together, and wishing that it will actually end finally. And then together with load shedding that has sprung upon us too, we forget that there is a bit of kindness left in this world. Today the 4th September 2020, I had load shedding at my house. Not having had lunch as yet either, I decide to go to the KFC in Lambton, Germiston. I was met by a VERY nice gentleman by the name of Philimon. I explained to him that I need to finish my work and we do not have electricity at home. He explained to me that due to the Covid-19 virus, they cannot have patrons stay for longer than 25 minutes. But since he understands how important it is for people to work during this time he allowed to me to stay and finish my work. He took my temperature and took my details down. I ordered my food and went to sit down. I must say that I have found a new relief in humanity during this tough time we are all enduring together. This goes to show that there are kind people in this world who will go out of their way to assist as best as they can. Thank you Philimon for going the extra mile. Now I know why I prefer ordering from your branch.
