Pathetic Service at KFC Kathu

Worst service I have received from a KFC. It doesnt even deserve a 1 star. I was on my way back from Kgalagadi to Pretoria. I had a long road ahead of me.

I ordered a 5-piece consisting of 5 THIGHS and that they must charge me per piece which the young lady said would be +-R17.00 per piece. I told her its fine. I do this at every Kentucky I go to and its not a problem. I also ordered a large fries.

She then said she would charge me the price of a 5-piece with chips they had on the board R81.90. So I paid. Not sure what happened but the manager, Christian, came to the till and they spoke in their language. I could tell the young lady wasnt happy.

I then told her Im going to the ladies restroom. When I came back, the lady who attended to me was leaning against the wall and the other lady was leaning with her back against the counter, back to the public.

I waited a few minutes, then asked if my order was ready. The lady who served me was in total dreamland and didnt budge. The other lady then looked at the output section and saw my order there and gave it to me, saying something in her language to the lady who served me.

I then decided, as I always do, to double check, as I have been caught before. I was given the special on the board, which was 5 mixed pieces. I told the lady I asked for thighs. The lady said the Manager said NO. I asked her why neither he nor her had the guts to tell me.

I asked to speak to the Manager, Christian. I explained to him exactly what transpired. He just stared at me and said precious little. His "I dont care" attitude makes him a pathetic Manager. I asked for my money back so I could buy my food elsewhere. They exchanged words in their language, he opened the till and lady gave me my money back. I told him he was pathetic. The young lady said "he's the worst'.

My expectation from the Manager at most, was to null and void the transaction, ask me to pay per piece and provide me with what I asked for in the first place. Instead he tried to make like I was trying to ******* KFC and hold me accountable for the decision the young lady made.
