Pathetic & Condescending Supervisor - KFC Mall@Lebo

Pathetic service at KfC at Mall@Lebo

On 22 Dec 2025 I ordered a meal atMMll@Lebo KFC and since the store was full I went to run other errands hoping to find my erder ready upon return. Approximately 20 minutes later when I went back to the store the order was still reflecting under the "coming up soon* on the information board.

As the wiat for longer, I wen ro rhe collections' counter and accidentally learnt that I have ro give them my receipt for them to prepare my order. When I enquired & infact queried their precess of doing things, the lady at the xointer found my enquiry very funny as she laughed uncontrollably while muttering through her laughter " so you were waiting ro see your order on the screen??? No, that screen doesn't work...laughing laughing as she called other customer's orders.

I lost my calm and asked her what was so funny. Her response was that she was laughing with her colleagues...

While the altercation was going on a male staff Karabo appeared from the back and intimidated me with his body language & tone of voice greeting me repeatedly while I was still talking to the other staff member. He made matters worse with his condescending tone and body language. I asked him if he realised that I was upset, he said yes , No apology, No acknowledgement of my reasons for being upset!!! Not from the 1st staff member I was talking to or the 2nd one, being Karabo. Even after I told them that the way to resolve the matter is a simple 'sorry for the inconvenience". They didn't care a hoot. When I told Karabo that I will be reporting the matter to hellopeter he didn't even cringe or care. It was like he is untouchable. When I asked for the Manager he ignored me. I repeatedly asked for the Manager and his response was, in such a belittling low tone in my face with wide eyes, : "the Manager is busy right now and she will not leave whatever she is doing right now to come attend to you! That is why I am here!" Then he insisted talking to me in English and when I told him he can speak to me in Sepedi he said: "I prefere speaking to you in this language!" I repeatedly told him to speak to him in Sepedi to no avail. He said he is the supervisor after I interrogated him seeing he was refusing to call the manager for me. I left the store with seeing the manager.....
