Paid for order and never received it

I placed an order on the KFC app today for 2 bucket for 1’s. They debited my account and also for delivery, come to find out when i called them they said the order wasnt put through because the store didnt accept. And i asked for a refund or credits on the app to order as i was starving and on my lunch break. They told me i need to wait 7-14 DAYS FOR A REFUND. What the hell???? What app lets you wait that long for a refund on food?? If i dont MrD they would refunded me instantly
