Not Proudly South African

Good day KFC I purchaseds ome items from KFC Sunninghill today, 15 Nov. and the chips, (French fries), were given to me with a parcel of tomato sauce.With the dire economic situation in South Africa at less than 1 GDP growth forecast and with unemployment being amongst the highest in the world I was greatly disturbed to see the sachet of tomato sauce had been made in Oman. There are several tomato sauce producers in South Africa, including Heinz, which I seem to recall was at one time a preferred supplier of KFC. By sourcing from a country other than South Africa KFC and Yum Foods are potentially creating even more local unemployment.This means of course, fewer people to be able to purchase your products. I obviously don’t know where this instruction comes from - Yum, KFC USA or KFC South Africa but I strongly suggest this policy is reviewed.
