No sign to notify that POS machine is not working

Went to KFC yesterday to buy some food. Waited on the Que for 9 minutes. When i finally get to buy Sylvia the cashier tells me the POS machine is not working. I asked her why is the no sign so that i was not going to waist my time standing on the Que. She shouts at me and bluntly orders me to go the ATM to withdraw my money, how dare she tells me that. KFC knows that people don't go around carrying cash how could their machines not work. Sylvia the calls another customer to take the order and lived me hanging asked to speak to the manager and she said the was no manager/!
