Money Making scheme

Just came back from KFC and they asked me to donate R2 to AddHope whatsoever. And I did. Now it comes back to me that I've been adding hope for the past maybe 3 years every time I buy KFC. Look at it this way. Atleast 30 people (minimum) per day donate R2 at KFC (including myself). According to 2017 statistics, KFC has 840 branches/stores here in South Africa. Do the maths. (R2 × 30 people) = R60 a day. (R60 × 840 branches) = R50 400 a day, the money that KFC collects from us. Shall I continue? Okay. (R50 400 × 30 days a month) = R1 512 000 in just one month. Multiply that by 12 months (a year) = R18 144 000. Yes. KFC makes 18 millions, 144 thousands a year, from us "adding hope to the homeless etc". Anyways, ku right nalokho but what triggers my thoughts is, do we have something like KFC Bursary maybe? Where KFC is willing to cover a poor student's university fees? Can one person come forward and say "Ive benefited from the AddHope campain and my life has changed"? Cos all I've seen is KFC visiting a charity home ONCE in a while, with KFC food parcels (lousy burgers) and taking pictures with kids. And all that does not even come close to covering a simple million out of the +R18M they make a year from our R2s, leave aside the money we pay for our meals. I'm not saying you guys must stop adding hope, but ✋ I'm done! How many kids still sleep on empty stomachs yet we give KFC so much money? If this is not a money making scheme, why is it that at the bottom of the slip they ask us to enter a competition and stand a chance to win R5000 yet they don't have a R2? Nando's has also joined, they asked me to donate R1 and they marked something with a highlighter down on their slip, for me to enter a competition and stand a chance to win (uncertain of the amount) yet they don't have a R1. Bare in mind that these franchises are white owned, and all originated overseas. , I won't be donating anymore.
