KFC UNINSURED DRIVER NIGHTMARES

Hi everyone 1 of the KFC delivery guys smashed in to my father in laws car into my in the malvern area, there are only 2 branches in this area and I am having a problem getting my car fixed. The driver is not insured bikehad no license disk. Driver wants to send to a bunch panel beater to fix my car ***, called customer services 4 times between yesterday and today, spoke to thando waiting for email to send every thing I am a vulnerable customer who has a sick father in law who has just gonethrough surgery and amputation, he is also a heart patient who is very ill. Not in case of an emergency I have to wait for ambulance to come help instead of rushing to hospital in the car which is damaged. 8 days has passed and driver or owner of the bike is giving stories. This is the worst situation to find yourself in from a reputable brand. Why contract with people who don't have insurance and make innocent people suffer???? For a brand to have so many stores make so much of money you guys really make the middle class suffer through your drivers negligent driving

This is the message I got from the guys,

Good Morning

1. I just knocked off work now.

2. I suggest that for purposes of everyone’s convenience and your happiness/satisfaction it is best that you go to the police station and do an accident report/alternatively pursue civil action against the driver.

3. As I stated during the week, the driver isn’t in my employment, he works for/with KFC. I too am having to carry the costs of the damage to my bike from my own pocket and will possibly recoup those costs from him overtime when he continues working once he’s healed as he leases the bike from me.

4. I am not privy to the arrangement he has with KFC is or if he’s an independent contractor but I think perhaps he would best be suited in furnishing all those details once you have instituted civil proceedings for damages against him.

5. From my end I was genuinely offering a solution to you in light of the fact that I am aware that proceedings against the driver himself may be overdrawn and that will render you immobile which is an inconvenience.

6. However, you are well within your right to refuse my assistance, as is now the case.

7. Please let me know once you have decided to commence proceedings so I can furnish you with the drivers details. In the interim; I will advise him that there may be possible action against him so he can prepare himself adequately.

I trust you will find the above in order.

Regards
