KFC - Undersize me

The local KFC ran out of large buns, but the staff had no formal contingency plans in place. Instead they could only offer (very dry) small buns. However, they were happy to charge full price for this, so KFC actually profit on the bun size. Perhaps if they could have offered a portion of fries for free it would have been a good compromise..? So, maybe poor training, poor management, bad planning etc...
