KFC TASTED LIKE BICARBONATE OF SODA

I always buy from KFC Gardens in Cape Town I am not sure if anyone experienced the same thing as I did last night the KFC family meal I took was firstly over cooked which looked to crispy, when I got home to see this and then taste it, it was terrible to have the taste of bicarb in your mouth it was horrible, it was not the normal KFC batter there was for sure something wrong, even the zinger wings ordered did not taste like zinger wings it tasted like bicarb.

I feel very sick, I still have bicarb taste in my mouth, I am trying to get rid of this horrible taste.
