KFC staff have no customer service experience

The KFC in Bedford Centre gave away my order because i went to the toilet, i ask for a refund and they make me wait 30minutes for food because if i refund then im putting their jobs at risk. So am i supposed to starve just to let people with bad customer service keep their jobs? Can something be done about this injustice
