I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the poor customer service I experienced at your Rustenburg Triangle branch on 25 January 2025, between 18:00 and 18:30.

I had placed an online order, and upon arrival at the store, my order was displayed as ready for collection on the collection screen. After waiting for about five minutes while other customers were served, I approached the cashier, whose name badge identified her as Mamiki, to inquire about my order. Instead of assisting me, she rudely stated that my order was still being prepared, without asking for my order number, and then walked away.

I decided to contact the customer service number displayed in the store to report the incident. While I was on the call, Mamiki suddenly asked if I wanted sparkling drinks with my order—the same order she had earlier failed to verify or confirm. At my partner’s request, she reluctantly checked the finished orders and found that my order had been ready for collection all along.

To make matters worse, the store manager, Ernest, was unpresentable and appeared indifferent to the situation. While he seemed surprised by Mamiki’s behavior, her attitude did not change even in his presence.

This is not the first time I have experienced subpar service at this branch. I strongly urge KFC to take immediate action to address this recurring issue. My recommendations are as follows: 1. Provide additional customer service training to all staff members to ensure a professional and respectful attitude towards customers. 2. Conduct an internal review of the incident using the CCTV footage available in the store. 3. Establish stricter oversight to ensure consistent and satisfactory service at this branch.

If further evidence is required, I am willing to provide proof of my call to your customer service line from my network provider. I hope this matter will be addressed promptly and effectively.
