KFC - NOT USING GLOVES ... SINCE WHEN - MORE IMPORTANTLY WHY ???

On Sunday 21 July 2019, I attended at KFC MonteCasino for a very light snack. We ordered 2 snack burgers. I noticed that the lady preparing my food was not wearing gloves. I told the lady who was packaging my food (her name was Betty) and she said "WE DON'T WEAR GLOVES, WE WASH OUR HANDS". I was not entirely happy with this and I could see Betty also seemed a bit snappy thereafter and pulled her face.

Since when has it become acceptable, in the food industry, to prepare food without gloves? Irrespective if they are "washing hands" every human has a different degree of acceptance when it comes to how they wash their hands. Some find it acceptable to sprinkle their fingertips and call that a good wash, whereas OCD people and people who do not like germs (like myself), consider even a good wash with soap still somewhat compromising.

Aside from that, there is bacteria under people's nails - please can you look into this as I am not happy with my food being prepared, by a stranger, who does not even use gloves. As is, I do not even eat food made by certain people that I know, so why should I PAY for and eat food prepared by someone I don't know and accept that their standards of hygiene is acceptable?
