KFC - Not the chicken you grew up with

On Thursday 30 July 2020, I got what can only be described as THE WORST KFC ever to be produced. Now I have known for a long time that the quality of KFC in South Africa has been on the decline, a fact that could be attested to by the long ques outside Chicken Licken and the very short ques outside KFC. So I went to the VaalMall KFC in Vanderbijlpark and got a Streetwise 5 piece. I got home to have my rather oily meal only to discover that the chicken skin had been fried to a crisp, making it utterly tasteless and bland, besides the oily part. I need to state that in the past 10 years or so, whenever I've bought food from KFC, there has always been something wrong with it, either the chicken was still raw and ****** or it was tasteless and bland. KFC whether through the actions of management, or their own staff, is not the same that it once was and I forsee it losing more and more ground to competitors such as Chicken Licken, Nandos and others.
