KFC FORCED DONATIONS

KFC(Brentwood) Kempton Park Drive Thru is forcing customers to donate R2 on orders made. The cashier serving at the drive Thru named Busisiwe was utterly rude and agitated when I chose not to donate as she asked why I wasn’t donating. I enquired why she was compelling me to donate and she said their establishment/branch forced them to compel customers as a portion is taken from their wages if they are not taking donations from customers.

I asked to speak to her manager and Busisiwe said ‘that one is just an employee like me as she/he won’t do anything.’ When i proceeded to the next window for collection of my paid order, Busisiwe labelled me in front of her colleague as stingy.

This is grossly unacceptable in my view and disgraceful on the part of the franchise(KFC) that they place their employees in such a predicament where they resort to making such demands from innocent and unassuming customers. The second issue is the audacity and disrespect displayed by Busisiwe in addressing me in the manner she did and further say unperturbed that I am stingy and still find it normal to laugh it off with her colleagues on my face. This has been quite a horrific experience and appalling of the employee.

My order number was 581 processed at 18:28 on 5 November 2021 @ KFC BRENTWOOD MALL in Kempton Park.
