KFC Dunddee opposite Rank

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service at the KFC branch in Dundee, located opposite Rank. On Friday, 25 July 2026, my mother visited the store to purchase a simple order of six pieces of chicken. However, she was given additional items she never asked for, including two servings of mashed potatoes, wings, and mini loaves. When I arrived and reviewed the receipt, I immediately noticed these unwanted extras. I asked the staff to cancel the order and correct it, but instead of assisting us, two employees—Philisiwe and Buhle—were dismissive and claimed the order couldn’t be reversed. I found this unacceptable and unprofessional, as any well-managed establishment should be able to correct a simple mistake. To make matters worse, we were only informed that chicken wasn’t available after the order was placed. This kind of disorganization and lack of transparency is incredibly frustrating.

Overall, the service was poor, and the attitude of the staff made the experience even worse. Adding items to a customer’s order without their consent is unacceptable. KFC needs to employ staff who are professional, attentive, and able to follow clear instructions. Until there is a significant improvement in customer service at this branch, I would strongly advise others to avoid it.
