Kfc Delivery service

I had placed an order on the KFC app, I tracked the delivery from the time it was collected at the store. As I am tracking it, I receive an sms confirming delivery. I go outside for about 2 minutes and no sign of my delivery. I contact the store where I had placed my order and they confirm they did send out the food. They gladly offer to call the customer care line on my behalf and take my personal number so I can be contacted. Customer care line contacts me and advises me that they are unable to place another order for me as the driver did not return the food to the store. They also can only process my refund after 24 hrs. In a nutshell I as the customer am at a great loss as I did not receive my lunch for the day nor did I receive adequate resolution to my problem.
