KFC Cornubia

Yesterday, I visited KFC Cornubia and ordered the new Braai Six Gun Burger as a meal. When I received my order, the burger only had the bun, patty, and a few small pieces of lettuce—no sauce, no tomato.

I asked the lady at the counter if it normally came with sauce and tomato. She told me they don’t have tomatoes and wasn’t sure about the sauce but would check. After about 15 minutes, she came back and asked me to hand over my burger so she could add sauce. When she returned, she simply gave me the burger and walked away.

When I opened it, there was an excessive amount of Colonel Sauce—far more than anyone could enjoy. The sauce was so overwhelming that it fell out in lumps. I’m certain the amount she put on could have been used for 10 or more burgers. This was extremely disappointing, as it felt like this was done out of spite simply because I asked about the missing ingredients earlier.

I didn’t escalate the matter further because I had my child with me, but I feel it’s important to share this. The customer experience was unacceptable, the food was poorly prepared, and the service was shockingly disappointing. I’ve always grown up loving KFC, but after this experience, I don’t think I will ever return to the Cornubia branch.
