KFC collects money for starving kids but starves stage 4 cancer survivor

I am highly disappointed and shocked at kfc. I placed and order for delivery and after 15 minutes it got cancelled. This was apparently due to no drivers being available. I called the store who referred me to their customer care who then referred me to the billing department who then told me that my refund will take 7 to 14 working days. I am a stage 4 lymphoma cancer survivor with highblood pressure. Why was this not communicated on the app during my order so that I can decide if I am will to take a risk of ordering as this could be the only money that I had??? How will my refund in 7 to 14 days help my hunger now???
